A huge thanks to the Skelpit Lugs for putting on such a fantastic evening for our wedding (Zoo Mansion House, Edinburgh, 2nd May 2009). You really had your work cut out with our lack of knowledge (or for some of us, unused dance steps since our school days!). Your patience and enthusiasm were much appreciated and everyone had a great time. You really made our wedding special.

Everyone at the wedding (St Andrews in the Square, Glasgow, 11th April 2009) enjoyed the ceilidh hugely. The Skelpit Lugs talked and walked the first-timers through the steps so that they felt confident about getting up for a dance and were able to enjoy themselves. The Lugs also impressed the hardcore of experienced Scottish country dancers, even introducing them to a few dances they didn't know. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better ceilidh band.  we would also like to commend the band for making everything so easy, not just on the day of the wedding, but in the planning leading up to the big day.  All of our questions were answered promptly and I knew that I could trust the band to do a great job.  I have already recommended the Skelpit Lugs to friends and hope to attend another of their ceilidhs in the near future.
