Thank you so much to the Skelpit Lugs. We had a fabulous time at our wedding (Maryculter House Hotel, Aberdeen 16 October 2009) and are now very happily settled here in Glasgow. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed your music and your presentation style. They had great fun and enjoyed the very relaxed atmosphere that you created. We both were certainly very happy with the way that things went (I'm only sorry that it has taken me so, so long to get a chance to say thank you!). We did very much appreciate the distance that you travelled and the lengths that you went to in order to add to our special day. We shall certainly recommend you to anyone we know who is looking for a Ceilidh band.

The Skelpit Lugs were truly fantastic when they played at the memorable ceilidh I had for my 16th birthday (at the Reid Memorial Church Hall, Edinburgh 6th February 2010). They were invaluable and ensured that the evening was a great success. The band's variety of music was amazing and as well as including all the well known dances they introduced a couple of fun new dances. I play accordion myself and the band made sure to include some of my favourite tunes as well as inviting me up onto the stage to play with them which is something I will never forget. The band members were very friendly and they really brought their own warmth to the evening. They are great musicians and I hope to have the opportunity to book them again.
