Sandy has been playing fiddle from the age of 16. He has
won a number of competitions for both performance
and composition. In the 1980s he performed with the
"An Teallach" ceilidh band, travelling several times
to Ireland and to the Tonder Folk and Blues Festival
in Denmark. He has performed at numerous sessions,
festivals and ceilidhs and is a founder member of
Falkirk Fiddle Workshop.
